What is DNC about?
De Nobili College, Pune is a house of formation for Jesuits who are studying philosophy and theology. This house is named after Fr. Robert de Nobili, a great 17th century Italian Jesuit who worked in South India. He was an exemplary Jesuit whose life was a wonderful blend of authentic Christian living, literary scholarship and an adaptation to the context where he lived. He embodied the expectation of the Society of Jesus from every scholastic, especially during their studies of Philosophy and Theology- that they grow towards a life of virtues and learning.
